Blue Kyanite Blades, Raw

Kyanite, especially blue kyanite, has a calming, grounding energy, making it useful for balancing emotions as well as accessing meditative states. It can also help us connect to our intuitive abilities and recall dreams, and it opens the third eye chakra. It does not absorb any negative energy and is one of the few crystals that does not need to be cleansed or cleared. Although a little moonlight bath or some sage smoke now and again wouldn't hurt. As its calming sea-like color suggests it allows energy to move and flow within us and be expressed in the way we need.

Kyanite is considered to be an aluminum silicate mineral, most often grown in nature to be a long-bladed crystal like the ones you see here. Some of the other crystals that grow alongside kyanite are quartz, feldspars, and mica to name a few. You will see traces of these on these blades. Because of its structure kyanite is brittle and can flake off. We mean flake-off in the geological sense and not like your ex-best friend. And unlike your ex-best friend blue kyanite is calming and full of high vibes.
