Turritella Fossil Agate Tumbled

Looking at and holding these little tumbles kinda blows my mind. These fossils are considered to be from the Eocene Epoch to the Cretaceous period in age. That's between 56 and 145.5 MILLION years ago! These gorgeous tumbles are filled with fossils of little, and super old, sea snails. These elongated spiral shells take the form of the sacred geometry Golden Ratio, also known as the Fibonacci Pattern,  which is the basis for most sacred geometry. Appearing in hurricanes, sunflowers, and all other natural formations, this spiral shape is thought to be the most perfect shape in the universe.

The genus Turritella is first known from strata of the Upper Cretaceous, 80 Million Years Ago, and still exists in seas today. It is found in fossil form worldwide. They are medium-sized Sea Snails that have tightly coiled shells that look like elongated cones. Turritella Agate is composed of silicified fossil shells in various matrices composed of soft sandstone to a dense chalcedony. Some of the Turritella are shells of the freshwater gastropod, Elimia Tenera.

Metaphysically speaking Turritella Agate helps to soften a strong ego, and provides protection, and a feeling of safety. It's a wonderful stone to use when focusing on planetary healing. Turritella Fossil Agate corresponds to the Root Chakra and the astrological signs of Cancer and Aquarius.
