The top three-quarters of this piece form iridescent schiller horizontal lines, and the bottom quarter is a solid band of blue iridescent schiller. Schiller effects are the result of thin microscopic inclusions within a translucent mineral that refract and reflect incident light. Schiller is also sometimes termed labradorescence.

The natural front face of this piece has an angled bottom which allows the piece to rest backward and show off its beauty. You can also tilt the piece forward.
