Quartz Druzy Hand Carved House 2.45"

I affectionately refer to this style of carving as "Hobbit Houses", the abodes from J.R.R. Tolkien's books "The Hobbit" and  "Lord of the Rings". These little houses are hand carved in natural Quartz druzy. This piece has come directly from the carver. He carved a recessed double door with two small holes for handles. The circle, which looks like it might be a port-hole window, is the carver's symbol for the moon.

This adorable piece stands 2.45" at its tallest, 2.6" at its widest, and 1.33" deep. It weighs 4.72 ounces. It is covered in Quartz druzy which is more clear, or translucent on the front and heavier on the back side which is a sort of milky beige. Druzy Crystal is a formation of tiny sparkling crystals on the surface of a larger crystal or stone body. It acts as a mirror of the soul, helping to release lingering negative emotions, experiences, or trauma stuck within your heart space. Crystal Druzy is all about balance, harmony, inner peace, and a strong spirit.
